Everyone is asking the question, even you, "how was Texas not voted #1?"  And my answer... the voting must have been rigged.

When you think "Country," you think of Texas right? Right? I mean George Strait hails from Texas, how do you get more country than that?

We have the biggest rodeo in the world every year, in the biggest football stadium in the world, with the literally... biggest losers in the world. (I can't believe I just said that about my Dallas Cowboys).

Before you hate me for trying to prove a very proving point, I was just sticking up for my home state. But who the heck could be any more country than Texas, it makes no sense to me.

I'm stumped! I'm shocked! I'm hurt all at the same time! All I know is it better not be our neighbor to the north east.

Crap! It is. It's Oklahoma! What the heck?

According to a real estate blog (of all blogs) from Estately they ranked Oklahoma #1 on the list. From Chron.com:

"Estately looked at figures like booze consumption ("drinkin'"), head of cattle, employment rates, active military, dirt roads, religious devotion ("prayin"), number of Country Music Hall of Fame members, divorce rates ("lovin' and leavin'"), and the amount of pickup trucks on each state's road to decipher which state was the most "country"."

Ain't no way they beat Texas in booze drinking, heck I'm sure Amarillo alone does that! But they did beat us in a bunch of other categories... supposedly. And they did NOT beat us in dirt roads, no way they have more than Texas. Yes, that was a category too!
