For the second time in 2 weeks the Dallas Cowboys have lost a game in the final seconds.

The Dallas Cowboys this year and last year have lost 13 games by a touchdown or less, but the last two weeks have hurt the most. Two weeks ago the Cowboys were leading the division by two games over the New York Giants and looking to finish out the season with first place in the NFC east.

With the loss last week in the overtime disappointment to the Arizona Cardinals 19-13, the game came down the the Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey. In Bailey's first attempt the ball sailed through the up rights but Cowboys coach Jason Garrett made a mistake by calling a timeout before the ball was snapped. In Baileys second attempt he missed the field goal causing the turnover and the Cardinals touchdown for the win.

Well last night Giants coach Tom Coughlin must have done his homework on the Cowboys loss to the Cardinals because he froze kicker Bailey. The cowboys were down 37-34 with just seconds left on the clock when Bailey came out to kick for the win, and right before the ball was snapped Coughlin called a timeout. Baileys first attempt was good but when he tried for the second time the ball was blocked by a Giants defender thus sealing the win 37-34.

Now the Cowboys and the Giants are tied for first in the NFC east. In the last three weeks of the regular season the Cowboys face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles and again the New York Giants. If the Cowboys can rally past the Buc's and the Eagles then it looks like it will come down to the final week in the Meadow lands against the Giants for a first place lead in the NFC east and a playoff spot.
