The FirstBank Southwest Hit Again With A Robbery

If you have information about this crime call the Amarillo Police Department at 378-3038, or Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.  Earlier today a bank robbery took place at the FirstBank Southwest bank near 34th and Bell.

A gunman entered the bank, pointed a gun at bank employees as he climbed over the counter to take a sum of money from more than one of the bank drawers. The Bank Videos shows him running east from the front door. The suspect was described as a male, medium height and thin build, maybe in his 30's.

The suspect's getaway car was seen by a witness at the bank. Which had been identified as a light cream or gray older model Chevy Tahoe leaving from an alley onto Atkinsen Street.
