Blake here tells me that when he was in school things were done differently most of the work was done on paper or in textbooks. Also he was always copying from the boards and taking notes by pencil. Well now lately more and more schools are turning to use more technology in their classrooms.

The i3 Conference & Expo hosted by Region 16 Education Service Center here in the panhandle had some sessions for area teachers about topics including incorporating online courses and how to use mobile devices in classrooms. Like one session has topics on incorporating online courses and how to use mobile devices in the classroom. Even a first grade teacher is planning to use an ipad to teach the alphabet in her classroom this year. Now that online learning tools are going to be useful teachers are still the most important factor in a student’s education. Kids now days have a cellphones or some place where they could go online if needed, and now that technology is being used classrooms it could be important to them and they could get really excited about it now that their schools are turning into be more modernize with new ways to use technology.

Every school year is different for teachers even for the ones who have been there for years they say "Everything in education always changes, You have to stay on the cutting edge, and education is never stagnant." With that being said Blake wishes that he had all this new technology when he was in school. Children that do have this opportunity to experience changes should use it to their advantage, because it could be worse with all those hand cramps, sharping pencils when they break, and all the use of paper for notes, and homework once school starts here Aug. 27th.
