In today's McDaily; Sheryl Crow is auctioning off her 1959 Mercedes-Benz Roadster to raise money for the tornado-ravaged city of Joplin, Missouri. She hopes to raise $500,000, but would be happy with $100,000.

In TV news, Kenny Chesney is producing a new theme song for ESPN's new program, “Rise Up.” The series will chronicle needy schools, whose athletic facilities receive extreme makeovers.

And finally, McDonalds is adding fruit and veggies to their Happy Meals and decreasing the size of the meal's fries in order to make them healthier. The changes represent a 20% decrease in calories. I think this is a good idea, but the idea of fast food veggies doesn’t seem delicious.
