We've still got several months until 'The Walking Dead' season 4 shambles out its first episode, but even without any major cliffhangers closing out season 3 finale "Welcome to the Tombs," fans are hungrier than ever to find out the latest from AMC's breakout horror drama. New intel on 'The Walking Dead' season 4 has been making the rounds suggesting that season 4 will see a major change in setting, so find out the latest scoop from 'The Walking Dead' inside!

Spoilers beware for those who have yet to see 'The Walking Dead's season 3 finale "Welcome to the Tombs, but the hit AMC series made perhaps its largest deviation from the comics to date, keeping the Governor alive and moving the remnants of Woodbury into the the prison to form a new community. That deviation makes it difficult to imagine where 'The Walking Dead' season 4 will go from there, but new reports from TVLine have revealed that season 4 will likely see a "major" time jump between the March finale and October premiere.

The report claims that 'The Walking Dead' season 4 will pick up somewhere between three months to a year after Rick welcomed the Woodbury residents into the prison, likely allowing the Governor to return in significantly better shape than we saw him last. The time jump also fits with the 8-month transition between seasons 2 and 3, whose continuity would have otherwise been affected by visibly changing Atlanta climate and 'The Walking Dead's summer shooting schedule.

While we wait for season 4, The next run of ‘The Walking Dead’ will introduce ‘The Wire’s Lawrence Gilliard Jr. as haunted Army medic Bob Stookey, while actors Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney have all been upgraded series regular. AMC earlier confirmed that David Morrissey’s villainous Governor would also return in season 4 as a series regular.

Well, what say you? How do you think 'The Walking Dead' season 4 should pick up with Rick and his new prison community? What new or returning characters are you excited to see from the new episodes this fall? Give us your predictions for 'The Walking Dead' season 4 in the comments, after the preview!
