I dedicate this song to the armed forces and their families today.  I have come to understand the sacrifices these men and women make everyday.  I have the privilege to talk with veterans and active duty soldiers on the phone.  I don't find out that they're a veteran or soldier until I ask them.  Even after that, they down play their service and tell me it's just something they wanted to do.  So, I just wanted to shine the spotlight on our soldiers this 4th of July and let them know how much I appreciate them.  I know feel the same so....

The next time you spot a traveling soldier at Rick Husband International Airport, take a minute and thank them.  Or, sometime this summer, stop by the VA Hospital and visit with these wonderful men and women and let them know they are appreciated.
