Procrastinators listen up! Today is the absolute last day to register to vote, no worries we can help.

This year’s election has been a roller coaster.  The presidential candidates have been back and forth taking the lead.  If you want to make sure that your voice is heard, you need to head to the polls.

In order to vote, your application needs to be in the voter’s registrar’s office at least 30 days before an election.  So that means the deadline to vote for the next President is October 11, 2016, which is today!

If you don't know where to begin, we have all the information you need.

To be eligible to register in Texas, you must:

  • be a U.S. citizen;
  • be a resident of the county;
  • be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months);
  • not a convicted felon (unless a person’s sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
  • not declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law
