Trinity Fellowship Church is home to Arbor Christian Academy, and on Friday they announced the school will be closing its doors for good after 24 years.

Church board member made the decision this past Friday after they looked at how low the enrollment number have been the past few years. Teachers were notified of the school's closing on Sunday, then on Monday night parents were notified in a meeting.

At the meeting with the church board members they were trying to figure out a solution to somehow keep the school open for future students. Talks about raising tuition was going around but the end result could possibly have been even lower enrollment due to rising tuition costs.

More than 200 students are enrolled at the school at this time and Arbor has teamed up with schools such as San Jacinto Christian Academy for a walk through of their facility. Some parents are considering to transfer their kids to public schools.
