'The Walking Dead' once again shattered its previous ratings with a record-setting 16.1 million viewers for season 4 premiere "30 Days Without An Accident," but that still leaves just a few people left on the planet who haven't yet caught up with Rick and his expanded gang of prison survivors. That said, why not watch (or rewatch) the full season 4 premiere online right now?

Don't forget our review and comic-to-TV comparison of the hour, whose ratings combined with the ear-splitting fan reception from New York Comic-Con all but assure that walkers will be lunging after our favorite 'Walking Dead' survivors for years to come, or at least until the spinoff.

Last night's premiere "30 Days Without an Accident" picked up some months after the events of season 3 finale "Welcome to the Tombs," as Rick Grimes and the others find their new community within the prison complicated by the rise of a new threat, while walkers outside the walls continue to rain down on supply runs, both literally, and figuratively. Lucky for us, AMC has placed the entire record-setting episode online to rewatch, though preferably not after any big meals.

While we await the latest episodes from ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, the current run of the AMC horror-drama introduces ‘The Wire’ star Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. as comic character Bob Stookey, ‘Southland‘ vet Michael Cudlitz as Sgt. Abraham Ford, Josh McDermitt as Eugene Porter, ‘Twilight‘ vet Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinosa, Alanna Masterson as a new mystery character, and upgrades actors Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney to series regulars. The returning David Morrissey’s villainous Governor has been upgraded to series regular, though beyond this season his involvement seems unlikely.
