WEEK 1: “Blake’s Boys of Fall” – Borger, TX [PICS]

Blake FM's high school football tour has returned after taking a year off, and the first week in Borger was amazing to say the least!

It's an exciting time of year, almost everyone's favorite time of year. It's time for the Tri-State Fair so that means fall is in the air, sweater weather is right around the corner, the leaves will soon start to change colors.

But one of the best parts is high school football is back in full swing. Although it was the second week of football in the Panhandle, and only week 1 of "Boys of Fall," it was a memorable one for us. It fell on September 11th, the 14th anniversary of the tragic day back in 2001.

The Borger police, fire department and first responders were on hand to help remember and take notice of everyone who was affected on that horrible day 14 years ago. Thanks for a good time Borger, up next in week two is Dumas!
