What’s Your Favorite Food at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair?

The Amarillo Tri-State Fair kicks off on Friday.  It's one of he biggest events of the year in Amarillo.  The rides, the shows, the livestock, the competitions, and the food.  When it comes to the food, you have a plethora of fried deliciousness.  So when it comes to the fair what food is your go to food?

Back in the day, my go to favorite fried fair food was fried pickles.  It used to be that you could only get fried pickles at the fair.  I remember the first time I had a fried pickle.  I remember thinking this was the best thing in the world.  Now there are so many delicious things at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair.  You can't go wrong with the classics like the corn dog, the cheese on a stick, funnel cake,  the turkey legs, so many choices.

I cannot leave the Amarillo Tri-State Fair without my caramel apple.  I loved the stuffed sopapillas.  Now there are some really delicious fare like fried cheesecake or fried candy bars, or even fried avocados.  So much deliciousness awaits at the fair.  Are you ready to eat starting on Friday?

Don't forget you can get into the fair for free before 1pm so you can enjoy lunch on the middway.
