Who Needs An Electric Car When You Have A Coke Zero And Mentos Car [VIDEO]

Remember Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz?  Those guys on youtube who have created extravagant ‘Soda Shows’ using Coke and Mentos. Well, they have been back in the soda shop and have developed a car that is powered by 54 bottles of Coke Zero and 324 Mentos.

They say their Mark II recently traveled 239 feet, which is 19 more feet than it traveled last year. You can see the comparison of both vehicles in the video below.

Could this be the future of transportation. Instead of buying Coke Zero for refreshment, will we start buying it for fuel? Will Mentos stop being the fresh maker and start being the combustion maker? The future of the automobile industry is sugary sweet–and sticky.
