Sadly, outside of the occasional Old Milwaukee commercial, occasional 'SNL' appearance, or maybe even the latest episode of 'Bitch Hunter,' we're unlikely to see Will Ferrell take any regular presence on the small screen again.  That's okay though, considering the imminent arrival of 'Anchorman 2' with director Adam McKay, and an upcoming NBC series with both behind the camera!  And hey, why not throw in a little Anne Heche for good measure?  Who's ready for 'Bad Judge?'

Will Ferrell is coming back to TV, but not in front of the camera, sadly.  Deadline reports that the 'SNL' vet and 'Anchorman' star will work behind the scenes with frequent collaborator Adam McKay, as well as actress Anne Heche to produce new NBC comedy 'Bad Judge.'

Written by Chad Kultgen, 'Bad Judge' is based on an idea brought by Heche to Ferrell and McKay's Gary Sanchez productions. According to the report, the series follows a "hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman who plays with the law, and whose life on the edge is constantly in balance as she also happens to be a judge in the Criminal Court system."

Heche herself will star on NBC in her own sitcom at mid-season, the religious-themed (and somewhat-meta) comedy 'Save Me.'  Do you think Ferrell might appear on the series, should it go to pilot?  Tell us if you'd watch 'Bad Judge' in the comments!
