William Shatner's unique voice became well known after his role as Captain James T. Kirk in 'Star Trek.' Ever since then that voice has been recognizable to almost everyone. But there may be a country fan inside Shatner that the world has never known.

Go Country 105, a Los Angeles radio station, got Shatner to unleash his inner country star recently when he visited the station. He lent his voice to one of Luke Bryan's most popular hits, 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me).'

"I got a little boom in my big truck," Shatner begins in the audio clip at Go Country 105's website. "Goin' to open up the doors and turn it up, gonna stomp my boots in the Georgia mud." Shatner's rendition of Bryan's song is hilarious and when he gets to the chorus' breakdown, his tone will have you laughing out loud.

This wasn't Shatner's first time having a country connection. He's also made a few cameos in Brad Paisley videos. Remember his role in Paisley's video for 'Online'? He also appears in the 2009 video for 'Celebrity' as a judge for the video's version of 'American Idol.' He grimaces while contestant Paisley shows his singing skills. Maybe Shatner's a country fan after all.
