After last year's 'Men in Black 3' and this year's 'After Earth,' it looks like America's favorite superstar, AKA, Will Smith, may leap back into "serious" acting for a bit, putting aside blockbusters in favor of something a little meatier. Currently under his consideration are the Hurricane Katrina story 'American Can' and the action drama 'The Accountant.'

The chronicle of a battle for the fate of humankind that possesses little humanity of its own, 'Oblivion' is an overstuffed compendium of familiar genre tropes rendered with ornamental beauty but not much emotional depth.
Harrison Ford was a guest on last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to promote his movie '42' and naturally the discussion came around to 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and the future of the franchise. Ford tried to stay mum and say he couldn't talk about anything 'Star Wars,' but when he agreed to some questions from the audience, things got heated and Ford walked off the set. When 20th Century Fox was founded in 1935 (the combination of Fox Films Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures) it's possible that the founders of the company may have joked that their name could become obsolete in sixty five years, but it seems unlikely they were thinking that far ahead. Now -- seventy-eight years later -- the company's name has been changed to reflect the times and updated to 21st Century Fox for everything but the movie side of their business.
Universal has announced they're making a sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' which means that either the first film was a sneaky success, or that studios are desperate for sequels. Regardless, the 2012 fantasy film's sequel is officially on the way, with plans to release it in 2015.
