Dan + Shay have released a music video for their latest single, "How Not To." The clip shows two people struggling from addiction, and how they save each other.

Directed by PTracy, the "How Not To" video begins with Sophie (Katie Stevens) and Noah (Pierson Fode) meeting at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

"I am one day sober ... but, um, but it's 7, so I still have, like, five hours; we'll see what happens," Sophie jokes, and although the rest of the group remains serious, Noah chuckles.

The majority of the clip follows Sophie and Noah's separate lives: She's a waitress at a diner and gets fired for drinking on the job, while he's a member of Dan + Shay's band and gets in a fight with a convenience store clerk after drunkenly breaking beer bottles. However, near the end, the video shows how things really turned out: The two are together and celebrating a year of sobriety.

"You know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, right?" Noah tells Sophie, to which she answers, "We wouldn't be here without each other."

The couple's official introduction, which viewers get to see as the music video ends, is delightfully awkward and endearing. Readers can press play above to watch.

"How Not To" comes from Dan + Shay's sophomore album, Obsessed, which is available for download on iTunes. Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney are currently on the road for their Obsessed Tour.
