The past week has been a rough one, physically, for Jake Owen. After a go-kart accident and hand surgery, country fans have been wondering what, exactly, happened to the 'Anywhere With You' singer. According to Dierks Bentley, Owen's fingers got cut up pretty badly.

Owen had surgery and has been walking around with his bandaged hand in a sling, but the rowdy country crooner hasn't missed any huge shows. He hopped on a flight aboard NASCAR star Kevin Harvick's personal plane so he could make it to big gigs in Ohio and Boston last week.

Judging by his ability to perform through the pain, it seemed like Owen's hand wasn't too injured. But Bentley begs to differ.

It's still not absolutely clear that Owen's hand surgery was a result of the accident. He was racing NASCAR’s Clint Bowyer and Harvick in a go-kart when he took a spill. The accident resulted in a short visit to the emergency room and a temporary neck brace. And now it looks like hand surgery might have been part of the deal, too.
