Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pleads Guilty To Assault Charges, Will Serve 90 Days In Jail!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. plead guilty to assault charges stemming from his ex-girlfriend.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is known for dodging the law, hes been able to get out of several instances involving abuse in Las Vegas & Michigan. But today a Las Vegas judge has decided to give Mayweather Jr. some jail time.

Mayweather Jr. admitted to hitting his ex-girlfriend and twisting her arm last September, all of this happening in front of two of their children. Mayweather has agreed to serve 90 days in jail as part of a plea deal, although his lawyer wants to appeal the decision. Mayweather will start serving his sentence on January 6th.

Because he will be serving the 90 days his scheduled bout with Manny Pacquiao on May 5th, possibly one of the richest fights ever in boxing history will have to be postponed. Boxing analyst now wonder if the boxing match will ever happen, but think if it was to be rescheduled it might be happening in November 2012.
