We all know how hard teachers work and how little they get paid.  August 14th a group of actors and musicians will come together to celebrate teachers and education and Garth Brooks will be one of those celebrities.

Teachers put up with kids day after day and take home very little pay.  They are one professional who deserves recognition and rarely get any.  Well on August 14th, they will be celebrated in a huge way.

'Teachers Rock' will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and it is going to be a night to remember.  Although the event is to celebrate teachers and education, it is a charity event.  Several charities including each for Teach for America, Feeding America and DonorsChoose.org will benefit from the concert.

With an already amazing group of artists performing, Garth Brooks will be a great add.  The country superstar will be joining other country musicians Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley.  Along with other awesome musicians, several actors will be participating in the event.

'Teachers Rock' will air live on CBS.  Right before school is the perfect time to honor all of the teachers and make a difference in the community.
