NBA Lockout Lifted. Season Set To Start On Christmas Day!
The lockout lasted well over 160 days and now both sides have come to terms.
I am not a big fan of the NBA, I would much rather watch college basketball only because it is more exiting. After this long lockout that lasted over 160 days I lost the rest of the respect I had for the NBA.
But thankfully it is finally over. Some of the players of the NBA have recently traveled half way across the world to play for foreign teams and now they can come back. Since the lockout has started none of the players have been getting paychecks.
Well now on Christmas day the NBA season will kick off. Both sides (the owners vs. the players) have to come to terms. Players will recieve 49% of the NBA’s income while the owners get 51%. It will be a shorter season with only 66 games instead of the regular 82 game season.
