Ryan Beaver recently taped a very special intimate performance for Audience Network, and fans can get an exclusive first look at one of the songs via Taste of Country.

The Texas-based singer-songwriter sings "Kristofferson" in the video above, which is part of an exclusive performance that will air on Friday night (Sept. 23). The song appears on his critically acclaimed album Rx, and he performs it in an earnest, acoustic-based performance that gives way to amped-up electric guitars in the clip above.

"What an amazing opportunity to get to record this song with the Audience Network," Beaver says. "It's a tune about chasing your dreams as well as a tip of the hat to someone I truly respect, Kris Kristofferson."

Beaver grew up in the small town of Emory, Texas, where he first began playing his original songs in local venues. He moved from there to Austin, and eventually from Austin to Nashville to pursue his craft. He co-produced Rx with longtime collaborators Jeremy Spillman and Ryan Tyndell, and the album has received praise from press outlets including Rolling Stone, which named Beaver to its list of 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know. He's also garnered support and praise from Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Lee Ann Womack.

Audience Network delivers a wide variety of exclusive concerts, stories and performances from across all musical genres. Other country performers featured have included Hank Williams. Jr., Martina McBride, Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay.

Beaver sits down for an interview with host Ted Stryker after his Audience Network performance, which is set to air Friday at 9:30ET on DIRECTV Ch. 239/U-verse Ch 1114.
