This year will see World Series MVP Josh Beckett and Olympic gold medalist softball pitcher Cat Osterman (UT softball) join the list of celebrity-athletes playing in the Seventh Annual Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam on Sunday, May 31 at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Asleep at the Wheel has released their third and final Bob Wills Tribute Album, titled 'Still The King: Celebrating The Music of Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys.' It features 22 collaborations with country music's best and brightest.

Wade Bowen and Randy are all set to release their first, and very long awaited collaborative album on April 20. The new album will celebrate singers' friendship and works to capture the success of their annual Hold My Beer and Watch This tour.

Last December Randy Rogers called on Sean McConnell and William Clark Green to join him on an acoustic tour, that would only later be dubbed "The Three Guitarristas." This year the guys are back for another, although, abbreviated four show tour. And just a suggestion, if they're coming near you, be there.

His new, self-titled album was out last Tuesday. It peaked inside the Top 5 on iTunes, no small task for an independent artist. Last week Wade Bowen called into Radio Texas, LIVE! to debut four tracks off his new project, exclusively for our listeners.

On Thursday I had the opportunity to talk to lead singer of the Eli Young Band, Mike Eli.  He was at home spending time with his wife and their dogs while enjoying some time away from the road. Eli told me that he and the rest of the Eli Young Band while they have been busy, "We're feeling pretty good."
