The Attitude Of Gratitude
You may have noticed many of your Facebook friends posting what they are grateful for every day this month. It’s something called the Gratitude Project, and it’s a very simple but powerful idea. Each day you simply write something you are grateful for. Sounds simple but just taking a moment to count your blessings really can make a difference. Here’s how the whole thing got started….
Attitude of Gratitude Project began as an experiment: If I consciously choose to keep an attitude of gratitude no matter what life may throw my way, will it really make a difference in the quality of my life? I reasoned that if keeping a gratitude journal is a powerful way to remember to stay grateful, then how much more powerful would it be if we could share our gratitude with each other every day? That way, on the days when I might not be particularly feeling it, someone else would be there to remind me of something wonderful to appreciate.
Even though November is almost over you can still start being grateful every day. There’s even scientific proof that acknowledging the good in our lives helps us live happier longer lives What are you grateful for today ?
