Tim Tebow Traded To The New York Jets For Draft Picks In 2012
Everyone was wondering where Tim Tebow would end up since the Broncos acquired Peyton Manning on Monday, we now have the answer.
The Denver Drama is finally now over. The Denver Broncos VP of Football Operations John Elway was so obsessed with acquiring Peyton Manning after he went on the trade block. Well Elway got Manning on Monday when Manning made the decision to sign with the Broncos for a 5 year/$96 million contract.
Manning said he is planning on finishing his career in Denver and Monday everybody was asking the same question, “Will Tebow stay or will Tebow go?” Denver fans fell in love with Tim Tebow after last season and thought he would make a great fit for the back-up QB position behind now starting QB Peyton Manning.
But then you had the ones who though it would be best for Tebow to high tail it out of Mile High. That’s when the Broncos announced they will trade Tebow for the right offer. Teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars showed interest in the left handed QB, Jacksonville is also Tebow’s home town. Instead the New York Jets quietly snuck in and picked up Tebow in exchange for 4th round draft pick and a 6th round draft pick. The Jets will also receive a 7th round draft pick.
