Sam Williams Is Blake FM’s New Country Music Artist Of The Week

Blake FM is giving you 60 minutes of new country on your way to and from work. Sam Williams is the new country music artist of this week.

Cadillac Cruz and I met this young guy out in Dalhart, TX for the XIT ranch rodeo, but he wasn't their to preform on stage. He was there in the steer roping completion to try and win another steer roping title. So it’s safe to say this guy’s involved and works hard to make things happen.

Sam is 19 years old, and his single, "Out of San Antonio" was written and inspired by a  Texas tornado he crossed paths with in San Antonio. His single is steady climbing the music chart. Plus, he also has three other songs that he has written.  They all sound pretty good especially the, "Good Time Song".

Opening for headliners like Uncle Kracker, The Black Crowes, and Lucero. Sam Williams also attending Ranger College in Ranger, TX.  He grew up in Greenbrier, Arkansas, but always wanted to live in Texas. He is on the right path to set Texas on fire!
