A Missouri Mom Slit Her Baby’s Throat, Claims She Was Possessed!
Police found a Missouri mom and her baby daughter in the woods by their home, police instantly took the baby when they noticed she was bleeding profusely.
On Tuesday, Feb, 4th, Bradie Simpsons son went to his mothers house, when he arrived he found a knife and blood in his mothers room. He immediately called the police. When the police arrived at the scene they immediately started searching for Simpson and her 9 month old daughter.
After searching for nearly 3 and a half hours officers found Simpson along with the 9 month old laying on the ground covered in her own blood. The baby lifted her head indicating she was still alive, an officer snatched up the baby and started applying pressure on the wound on her neck and rushed her to an ambulance.
Simpson had taken her 9 month old baby to her room and attempted to kill her by slitting her throat. When the baby arrived to the hospital doctors performed emergency surgery on the baby. Simpson was arrested and charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action, her bond was set at $200,000.
Simpson said the reason she tried to murder her baby was because she was possessed. Back in October Simpson went to a local church, ran through the doors asking for help while she was carrying her baby. The pastor said Simpson threw the baby into his arms and said ‘Tie me down! Tie me up!’ and said, ‘Possession! Possession!’” Later in the day the pastor said that Simpson just stopped talking and started writing to him on paper and wrote “Do not let me harm the baby.”
Simpson later then tried to leave the church with the baby, the pastor called 911 and the baby was taken into the custody of Missouri’s Child Division but was released soon after. Her neighbor claims that he thinks the whole situation is tied to her ex-boyfriend – the baby’s father – who was found dead in the same woods last year. After an investigation of the house police also found heroin inside of the home.
The baby still is under supervision in the hospital, her condition has been upgraded to good.
