The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

NGDB is coming to Amarillo during their farewell tour!  The NGDB have been together since 1966 when they first hung out together at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Long Beach, California.   Little did they know, what an impact they would make on music.  Over their successful career, they have recorded 25 albums, have 4 Grammy's, and a CMA Album of the Year Award, plus countless nominations.

We all know one of their most popular songs:

Heck, everyone wants to go Fishin' in the Dark after hearing this song.

Most everyone can relate to Long Hard Road because the struggle is real even today to make sure you can take care of your family.

This was originally written and recorded by legendary Jerry Jeff Walker, and recorded by the NGDB in 1970.

Most recently the NGDB released an album called Dirt Does Dylan, and entire album of Bob Dylan songs.

Check out this amazing cover, written and originally recorded by Bob Dylan in 1973.

Now the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is gearing up to say goodbye to their fans who have spanned over 7 decades.  They are currently on their Farewell Tour.
