A V-22 Osprey made an precautionary landing in Amarillo on Wednesday. The plane made a "precautionary landing" to the southwest of loop 335 near Grayhawk.

Bell Helicopter officials say the plane has since been moved back to Bell Helicopter to assess what went wrong.

"Bell Helicopter puts all aircraft through a robust series of maintenance flight tests prior to delivery to the US Government, there were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft, " Bill Schroeder told ConnectAmarillo.com
